Shalom From the Heart of Missions

January 16th, 2010

Greetings in Jesus.

As you know the World focus for prayer and humanitarian efforts are now on Haiti. The death toll is unknown due to the severe devastation from the recent earthquake. Within the first two days, I was not able to get in contact with the personal missionary friends that I know. It was such a relief whenever I discovered that my friends were ok although, all of their possessions were lost.

Please lift up Haiti in your prayers.

Just North of Jerusalem within the territories, my Pastoral duties continue as Bible study materials are being distributed to several homes. It was also a blessing to me to be able to share the messages that the Lord has placed on my heart for the leaders in the Church which is across the check point.

Another load of medical supplies was delivered this week. There was rejoicing in the homes of the recipients who are dependent on the medicines to keep them alive. The message for the believers that the Lord gave me also served as a source of encouragement for me.

Isaiah 43: 19-20
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honor me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

Last night at church, a young man gave his heart to the Lord for the first time. He had been running for a long time and I stopped talking to him about his life and just began praying a couple of years ago. He himself decided that he finally wanted to be saved, thank God, heaven rejoiced! When we fully depend upon the Father, He does truly make a way where there seems to be know way.

Thank you for praying for me.

Your brother,
Isa
